Biographical Data Her multi-faceted role as a speaker, author, life coach, minister, wife and mother has touched the lives of many and signaled to the masses that she has been called by God to do His handiwork. After 20 years of marriage, raising three children, Walker understands that she has been chosen by God for service to the body of Christ. She is and ordained minister and president of Serenity Ministries. In 2002 she founded Serenity Ministries, a non-denominational outreach, with the mission to equip and empower women to derive their esteem and self worth from God. Since that time God has enlarged her coast and because of her love for people her vision for ministry is enabling her to minister to the masses. I thought it was just a women's ministry but God has opened my eyes to such a great need, for both men and young people. We all need the word of God... I've had the Women Conferences, but now my focus is evangelism, to touch as many souls as possible for the Lord Jesus Christ. A new vision, a new undertaking, but a great honor. God is a sovereign God, and he can have it his way, I simply say Yes to his will. "I love people---teaching them, walking with them through challenges and leading them to the only real lover of their souls," said Walker. My prayer is that my ministry inspires men and women to reach within and know that God has hidden a great treasure and purpose inside of them. Evangelist Peggy Walker and her husband Elder Chester reside in Metro Detroit and have three children, and a granddaughter. |
